Loving animals
Samuel had been crazy about animals from a young age. He grew up in a woodland environment and brought home – to the displeasure of his mother – the strangest creatures from the forest. It started with toads and little injured squirrels who he nurtured back to full health. But when he grew older it even went as far as injured deer.
