Benjamin took a deep breath and put on his most welcoming smile. He approached the table, his notepad and pen at the ready. The woman barely glanced up as she placed her order, as if she did not dare to look at him. Her tone was curt, her words brief. Benjamin, however, was no stranger to such behavior. He took it in stride, smiled politely, and walked away.
