Linda took a deep breath and approached the enclosure. Marvin didn’t seem to notice her at first, but as she got closer, he turned his head and looked directly at her. His eyes narrowed, and Linda wasn’t sure if he recognised her. She stopped a few feet away from the enclosure and spoke softly to him. “Hey, Marvin,” she said. “It’s me, Linda. Do you remember me?”
