It took Mindy some time to process what he was asking. “I-‘m fine,” she stammered. The situation made her very nervous. “What is it, doctor? Is something wrong with my girl?” The doctor tried to reassure Mindy by telling her it was probably nothing and that he needed to check something. Which didn’t really reassure her at all. Then the doctor walked out of the room and asked for David to follow.
