She found Eunice’s file and the emergency contact listed therein. To her surprise, it wasn’t a family member but a name she didn’t recognize. Summoning her courage, she dialed the number. A young man answered, and she explained the situation – about Eunice, the apartment, and the strange smell. The man sounded worried but wished to remain anonymous. He agreed to meet her in a nearby park that afternoon.
