She stepped inside, her heart content. The stage was set the curtains about to lift on a day that was to be anything but ordinary. As she closed the door behind her, she had no idea that this day was going to be like none other. After setting the apples in her humble kitchen, she began to make the pie, taking her time and cherishing the familiar process.
