Elizabeth stared at Dr. Harrison, trying to process what he had just told her. She was at a loss for words. Causiosly, the doctor continued explaining as he understood how this news was hard to grasp. “The other woman, who also gave birth to triplets, disappeared from the hospital. She didn’t want the babies and ran.” Elizabeth’s mind was spinning. How was it possible that she raised different babies than her own?!
