John was now at a crossroads. Both figuratively as well as literally. He was scared but wanted to move forward as well. But his search got a lot more complicated. Because the tunnel was branching off into multiple smaller passageways, and that was not all. Because a few seconds after the eyes disappeared, John heard fast-approaching footsteps.
