Amber’s breath faltered, and her eyes widened as she stared at the homeless man. The hair and beard combination made his face almost unrecognizable. In addition, he had looked away or kept his face shrouded in his hood the entire time. But now that he was all cleaned up, he oddly resembled someone she knew very well. This man she just met today looked an awful lot like her deceased husband.
