Claire was silent during Dany’s entire explanation, and it was hard for the young waitress to read any emotion on the woman’s face. Was she getting through? She had no idea. Dany ended her request by saying that if Claire still felt the same after meeting with her father, then so be it. But at least then, she could give herself some closure. Clair did not respond and simply gestured for Dany to leave.
