When the crack disappeared underneath the garage, it immediately wreaked havoc. Roof tiles were coming down, and the brick wall Harold’s neighbor built so proudly crumbled quite quickly. After a few minutes, the entire west wall of the structure was broken and on the pavement. And that’s when panic sunk in with everybody. Neighbors started running around. They were screaming and acting aimlessly. This was getting out of hand, and Harold knew it.
