But soon after Mateo started his second captivating scene, something completely unexpected happened. There was something off about this giant creature, something Mateo had not noticed before. He squinted his eyes and followed the animal’s movement closely. Every other ocean-based animal would have shot back into deeper water the moment the fishing boat turned on its motor. But somehow, this creature remained creepily calm. A bit too calm for Mateo’s liking.
