There was an old Persian rug on the floor of the caravan. It wasn’t large—just 3 feet by 3 feet—but it clearly covered something Travis found important because he eagerly tried to claw the rug from its stationary position. Linda helped her dog and lifted the rug. And that’s when a hatch revealed itself underneath.
