All of a sudden, a loud snort came from the backyard. John’s heart raced as he ran to the back door. This time, he was met with the moose’s enormous nose pressed against the glass. “What does it want from us?” Rose whispered, holding the kids close. The moose continued to stare through the glass, unblinking as if determined not to leave.
