The two hikers were lucky that they wore shirts and otherwise neutral-colored clothing today since it made their outfits blend pretty well with the cave wall. So much so that when the source of the whistle arrived, they remained unnoticed. The duo saw an older man approach the tools and pick up a shovel before turning back.
