Bob explained how he’d discovered gold back in the 1980s and, over the years, had dug out this entire tunnel system by hand and explosive. Occasionally, he’d leave to hunt or repair his tools in a cabin above ground, but otherwise, he stayed in the mountain, adding to his growing stash of sparkle, as he called it.
