Many of us haven’t been able to travel for quite some time now due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic caused many countries around the world to shut their borders to travellers, in order to keep a seal on the virus and stop it from spreading even further than it already had.
Some countries are still, in fact, under these restraints and are not permitting outside travellers to come in and spend time there, such as the US and Australia. This is due to the continuing high rates of COVID in these countries, especially due to the Delta variants of the virus.
But for some good news for once, there are lots of countries who have reopened their gates to foreign visitors and there are plenty of amazing places again where you can travel and have great experiences.
There are two really unique places that I want to talk about in this blog. They couldn’t be more different from each other but they both have a whole world to offer tourists and travellers.
Check them out and let us know which one you think you would pick in the comments below!
Dubai
Dubai should be number 1 on most travellers’ bucket lists. It is a truly one-of-a-kind city with a blend of rich history and modernism, in fact almost futurism.
Dubai is an extremely wealthy location, due to the oil found there, and this means that there has been no expense spared in building and creating the city. There is the world’s only 7-star hotel, the tallest building in the world, the biggest mall in the world, the biggest aquarium in the world, and lots more things that are the biggest or largest or highest in the world.
Dubai has beautiful restaurants, exciting adventures and activities, stunning hotels, and more pools than you could ever want.
If you want to travel somewhere truly different and extraordinary, you should check out Dubai this year.
Just remember to prepare for some pretty extreme heat and keep yourself right with the laws of the city before you visit.
Ireland
Ireland might be somewhere that you overlook when you are thinking of exciting holiday destinations, but this would be the wrong decision.
Ireland has so many different counties and cities which each have something different to offer travellers and tourists. Whether it be pubs, restaurants, beaches, hikes, musical festivals, ceilidhs, historic buildings, or luxury shops.
It may be a small island but it is packed to the brim with culture. The locals are also some of the friendliest in the world so if you ever run out of things to do or need some help, there will be plenty of people a stone’s throw away to help you out.
Dublin has a huge international airport that receives flights from all over the world. Once you’re there, hiring a car will be the easiest and quickest way to get around.
You can cover a lot of land in a short space of time which is amazing because it means that you can be at the beach, up a mountain, shopping in the city, and drinking in a pub all on the same day.
There is a rich history and a thriving contemporary culture in Ireland, and it is waiting for you to come and explore.
